Making sure that your property’s boundaries are clearly marked is important for privacy, security, and maintaining good relationships with your neighbours. Decking
Enjoy your garden more with a custom built deck
We all like to enjoy our garden, making the most of it during the summer and throughout the year. Whether you’re someone who loves to sit in peace, perhaps with a drink, or you enjoy entertaining family and friends, decking is perfect for you. It provides a level space that is ideal for garden furniture, barbecues, and more.
Timber or composite decking
When planning your deck, you have the choice of timber or composite decking. Timber is generally cheaper initially, but more likely to require maintenance over the years. Composite decking is usually slightly more expensive, but much lower maintenance and is longer lasting. As part of our design and build service, we’ll go through the pros and cons of each option with you, so that you can make an informed decision.
Designed for you
Every property is different, so there’s no one-size-fits-all design for decking. We’ll go through a design process with you to ensure that you’re getting something that’s exactly what you want and that suits your property perfectly. Before any work begins, we will provide you with a quote for the project, making sure there are no nasty surprises when it comes to cost.

Garden rooms and sheds
Need a little extra space? Talk to us about a garden room
If your home feels a little cramped, and you could use more living space, then your garden might just hold the key. A cleverly designed and professionally built garden room gives you the chance to extend your home into the garden in a simple and effective way. We’ve designed and built many garden rooms for clients throughout Ayrshire, and every single one has been designed to the specifications of the owner.
Studios and offices
A popular use for a garden room is a home office. This is ideal for people who work from home, but who need a quiet space away from family and noise to work. We also have designed and built garden rooms as studios and workshops, providing a space for creative hobbies.
Gyms and man caves
Home gyms and relaxation spaces are also popular options. Because we design the garden room to your requirements, considerations such as power supply, placement of doors and windows and security will all be discussed during the design process.
Garden sheds, supplied and built
Bicycles, lawn mowers, tools, a garden hose. It’s amazing how much stuff we accumulate and then struggle to store. We supply and install sheds in Ayrshire and the surrounding areas, with a range of sizes to suit every garden and every need, and we’ll get it put up fast for you.
You’ll get a fast and efficient team to put it together on-site, including putting a foundation in place if required. Across the range, you can be confident that you’re getting a solid and secure shed that’s made from quality materials and put together by professionals.

Absolutely amazing and professional job! I love my new private fence. Very good communication, nice and quick job with very high standard .Also old material was taken away. After my neighbour saw this we are immediately booked NC fencing again for another new fence. Highly recommend this company. Thanks Nathan again for finishing my fence. Definitely another 5 star job again !! This company absolutely amazing- fast, great quality and good communication.

Contacted Nathan through the internet as he was local to me. Had a speedy reply and arranged a site visit followed by a visit for the work of installing a garden gate. Nathan arrived as arranged and had the gate built and installed in no time. A very professional tradesman from start to finish with good communication at all times. Have already arranged another job as I require a section of fence built. Have no hesitation in recommending Nathan for his gate and fencing work.

We are exceptionally happy here in Dalmarnock Drive with the new green V-mesh metal fencing around the east side of our development. Nathan visited the site at the end of November and our factors accepted his competitive quote and now in mid-December 2024 the job is done. Extremely well. We have 200 metres of this fencing and Nathan's team were on site each day as soon as it was light with everything that was needed and the job was done within 4 days. It went well and without a hitch. I'm very pleased to be adding my positive review to the others who have also commented positively on his work. If you need fencing, you are welcome to see it for yourself at Damarnock Drive in Glasgow G40.

Absolutely brilliant job by Terry. We inherited a wooden bin shed which the previous owner had built when we bought our house last year, but with no doors to hide the bins. We asked Terry to put some doors on the shed, and we are over the moon with the work he did. It was probably a relatively small job for Terry, but he didn't make us feel that it was, and it has finished our garden off perfectly, painted the same navy blue as our fencing. Super professional, great comms, beautiful job - would recommend to anyone!

Very pleased with the work carried out by Nathan. Great communication from the get go. A great job done to an extremely high standard. I will definitely be a returning customer in the future. Thanks again, I am over the moon with the work.

What customers said on Yell and Checkatrade
“Fence built yesterday. Absolutely delighted with it. Fantastic job, good price, arrived when promised, clean tidy job. Highly recommend these guys .”
“Fab service from start to finish. Nathan’s work is outstanding. Have used him a few times now. Would highly recommend.”
“New fence went up yesterday and we are delighted with it. Very professional job and reasonably priced. Will definitely use them again. Thank you, Nathan.”
“Nathan did 18 metres of concrete posts and sills for me today. Absolutely brilliant job. They never stopped all day and the job they left was extremely clean and professional. Nothing was a problem for them. Very competitive too. Would recommend these guys to anyone. I could not be happier. All my neighbours are asking me about the new fence.”
“We decided to hire Nathan to do 28 meters of our fence. From the very start Nathan was very easy to deal with, very responsive and came back with a quote in an instant. Even though the project was a bit tricky to do, Nathan & James did a great job in two and a half days. They kept us in the loop throughout the entire job, came on time every day too. After they finished, they took away the old fence and tidied everything up after themselves. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Nathan again and would recommend him to anybody who's reading this review.”
“Just had a new fence and gate from this company, excellent service, tidy and really pleasant, would definitely recommend”
“We had a great experience with Nathan and the team. Communication was great and the work carried out quickly (actually ahead of the date initially agreed). The gate is high quality, well fitted and very reasonably priced. We’d 100% recommend NC Fencing.”
“Nathan and his team, removed my hedge and ground debris from my garden. This was not an easy task. They removed everything, tidied the worksite, then set up for the next day. Next day they cleared the ground in preparation for me putting stones down, all that was done before the fence was even built. The fence was then constructed and a gate fence that split front and back garden. Very high standard of workmanship.”
